To create a qPCR assay, we first turn to the literature and see if anyone else has made an assay. If not, our bioinformatician will create one for testing.
The assay is tested with target DNA at different concentrations for its effectiveness. The assay and how a sample is run can all be tweaked to optimize detection. The assay is validated rigorously before we offer it to clients.
